Black Cat Season is a painting that celebrates Autumn and the month of October. A petite black cat takes a determined stance in front of a fairytale coral hued castle which is surrounded by fall foliage. Red and orange leaves drift across the stone path.

The full moon is rising against a sky-blue background. The sun is just about to set, and the hour is twilight, which I’ve always found to be mysterious.

There’s a sense of magic and mystery in the air. A fairytale pumpkin completes the Halloween ambiance.
