Lemon Tree Needleworks was created to fill a need of turning personal needlepoint / cross stitch designs into a viable business. In the early years, our focus was a catalogue marketing of these designs to both Ohio and Florida. We were involved with trade shows and had a great following. In 2002, we created designs for the White House Holiday Tree. Life got in the way and in 2005 we closed down the shop.

Michael reopened Lemon Tree Needleworks on Etsy in mid 2021 due to recent requests to provide a way for our oil painting designs to be used in cross stitch. This site, annelizabethscott, on Etsy continues to sell all available oil paintings rather quickly and before we could post on this platform via social media channels.

We continue to create one-of-a-kind designs which we want to share to this market. Our focus is on the intermediate and advanced stitcher with much more detail than current designs offer. If you are ready for the challenge, step up to the next level and give one of our patterns a try.

People now have started asking for prints, mugs and totes with our art, so we have opened up Fine Art America as another offering to share our unique items.

We have been approved to the Kindle Platform and are adding Kindle and paperback designs.
