Inspired by The Witcher books and Netflix series, this is the moment when a newly transformed Yennifer makes her appearance at the Mage’s Ball.
Yennifer has traded her fertility for eternal youth and beauty, a Faustian magical bargain which brings her later sorrow.
I wanted to capture her first public appearance in beauty, when she enters like a Goddess, standing at the entrance. Her face betrays her complicated emotions; pride, hesitancy, defiance, trepidation.
I added a few elements which were not actually in the scene, such as the full moon and the sunset sky. Her pendant has the sigil of Pan, also known as Baphomet, classic Pagan God of the ancient world.
