Nefertiti in Mixed Media is a digital image of an oil painting I did in 2004, which sold at a private corporate gallery show. I darkened the background to pure black in Photoshop and cropped the edges to focus in on the figure.

I've always been fascinated by the bust of Nefertiti, which has such beautiful and refined features. I envisioned what she would look like if she had blue-green eyes. The collector who purchased the original painting said it was as if the statue had just come to life.

This is now available in cross stitch as the original painting sold in 2004.
